Five Things #92

Every Wednesday I share five things I've liked and think you might like too. Here are this week’s Five Things…

  1. Of course 😂 David Attenborough's 'dulcet tones' have become a U.K. dance sensation

  2. An amazing collection of underwater photos from the Underwater Photographer of the Year competition.

  3. I love this quote from this piece titled Learning How to Think:

"I find for myself that my first thought is never my best thought. My first thought is always someone else’s; it’s always what I’ve already heard about the subject, always the conventional wisdom. It’s only by concentrating, sticking to the question, being patient, letting all the parts of my mind come into play, that I arrive at an original idea. By giving my brain a chance to make associations, draw connections, take me by surprise."

  4. When is the best time to drink coffee? Here's your answer.

  5. One of my favourite albums, For Now I Am Winter by Ólafur Arnalds, was 5 years old on Sunday. Here's one of my favourite tracks from the album. The album's title feels especially appropriate given the current weather!

That's all for this week. If you enjoyed it, subscribe and you'll get the next one delivered to your inbox.
