Five Things #94

Every Wednesday I share five things I've liked and think you might like too. Here are this week’s Five Things…

  1. This recent podcast on tribalism by You Are Not So Smart is excellent and eye-opening. This quote from the podcast notes nicely summarises the big problem underlying Fake News and politics: "Humans value being good members of their tribes much more than they value being correct, so much so that we will choose to be wrong if it keeps us in good standing with our peers."

  2. Seth Godin (I've shared many posts by him here) has a new Podcast called Akimbo. It's really good so far.

  3. Very cool: The Hubble Space Telescope captured two galaxies colliding

  4. Surely you've been wondering about this too: Where did that Nokia theme tune really come from?

  5. I'm really enjoying Frederico Albanese's new album By The Deep Sea. It's fairly minimal, cinematic and rhythmic... Another one for my growing collection of albums for working and thinking!

That's all for this week. If you enjoyed it, subscribe and you'll get the next one delivered to your inbox.
