1. A great answer on Reddit to the question ”What really happened in real life that if you saw it in a movie you would say ‘that’s totally unrealistic’?”. It would make for a pretty underwhelming movie, but it’s a great story nonetheless.

4. One of my all time favourite comedies, Community, has returned from the depths of nowhere to Channel 4. A warning, it’s binge-worthy!

5. Last week I had the pleasure of working with some super talented kids on one of Kick Music School’s Rock Schools. Check out the videos of their performances from the gig day rehearsals… You’ll be impressed!

Kick Music Schools

As you may or may not know, I run Kick! Music Schools. Kick! run five-day music workshops for 11-17-year-olds in Ipswich and we have one more Rock School this year. If you or a son or daughter are into music this is for them!

Last week Kick! Music Schools ran it's July Rock School at St Peter's by the Waterfront in Ipswich.

At the concert, we had the pleasure of witnessing this guitar solo by a 12-year-old. Age is rarely a good indicator of a person's talent, but needless to say, our minds were collectively blown!

This summer me and my Kick! Music Schools pals are running two Rock Schools (25-29 July, 22-26 August).

It's always good fun and a great way for 11-17 year olds to build confidence, learn about songwriting, recording and take a leap outside of their comfort zones.
