A couple of notes on this transcription:

  • You’ll want to listen to the track for dynamics. I’ve written the crescendos but none of the specific volumes. I like to leave that up to you!

  • On the structure of the transcription. You’ll see a few funny looking symbols (bars 38, 47, 71) and “D.S. al coda” (bar 69) and “Fine” (bar 72). These help us navigate around the score. Here’s what they tell us:

    • At the end of bar 69 “D.S al Coda” means to skip back to the “Dal Segno” symbol at the beginning on bar 38 and play until the “Coda” symbol at the end of bar 47.

    • From the “Coda” symbol at the end of bar 47 we skip to the corresponding “Coda” symbol at the beginning of bar 71.

    • You then continue to play until the end of the song, marked “Fine”.

    • The “Dal Segno” and “Coda” symbols are only observed once you’ve reached the “D.S al Coda” instruction. You just ignore them on the first pass through the song.
